Service Hours Opportunity

Parents, are you have trouble getting your service hours in? Art is looking for a parent to help by taking home the paint shirts to be washed, dried, folded and separated in S, M and L. We are also looking for someone to sharpen colored pencils (lots of them). These can be taken home and done also. These items can be taken home on Friday after school and returned by the following Tuesday (Sept. 7). If you would like to take this opportunity to get some of your service hours please contact Ms. McDonah. Please email amcdonah@stacschool.com.

Dear Parents and Students,
It's not too late to enroll in BAND at St. Thomas Aquinas!
Studies have shown that Music instruction is good for the BRAIN and helps a child’s academic performance.
Band is offered to students in 3rd Grade through 8th Grade.
It will take place MONDAYS after school.
The cost of lessons per student is $49 per month. We offer discounts for families with more than one child in the band. Instruments can be rented or purchased the Paul Effman Music Service. The cost to rent is $109 for the school year, except for Saxophone, which is $154 for the school year.
To participate in band students MUST turn in a registration form. These can be picked up at the school.
Registration forms should be turned into the main office as soon as possible.

HAVING TROUBLE OPENING DOCUMENTS ON OUR WEBSITE?

If you are having problems opening the documents on our website, you may need to download Adobe Reader. You can do this by going to www.adobe.com, and clicking on the download Adobe Reader button. If you are still having problems and you have Adobe Reader downloaded and installed, then the problem may be that you have popup blockers on your computer. The popup blockers are stopping the forms from opening in a new page when you click on the document link for the page you want to view. Popup blockers can be found on Google Toolbars, Yahoo Toolbars, and under the Tools menu in Internet Explorer. Be aware that some popup blockers will turn themselves back on every time you restart your computer. If that is the case the only way to stop them is to remove the toolbar itself (in the Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs).
